Intelligence and Security in the Middle East

On Monday, October 28, from 9:30 am-6:45 pm, the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies andย Argov Center for the Study of Israel areย hosting a conference on the topic of “Intelligence and Security in the Middle East.”

It will take place in the Feldman Conference Center (Building 301), Bar-Ilan University.

The conference will explore a wide range of topics relating to Israel’s intelligence services and their operations in the Middle East, the interaction between intelligence services and the media, propaganda and psychological warfare, and future intelligence battlefields including cyberspace, nuclear and the home front.

Conference participants include former senior Mossad and Shabak officials (some speaking publicly for the first time), former senior IDF generals, and experienced journalists. General Andre Ranson, former Head of French Military Intelligence and Commander of the French Special Forces, will deliver the keynote address at 6:00 pm.

The conference is open to the public and will be held in English and Hebrew, with simultaneous translation available.
