On July 27 The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies had the privilege of hosting Mr. Michael Eisenstadt, Director of the Military and Security Studies Program at the The Washington Institute for Near East Policy, for a lecture titled “War Termination Challenges: from Iran to Gaza.” During his presentation, Mr. Eisenstadt examined the strategic challenges of ending modern conflicts, drawing on the cases of Iran and the Gaza Strip. He discussed the complexities of achieving military and political objectives, establishing post-conflict deterrence, and managing the broader regional and international implications of war termination.
