BESA Center Ranked Top Mideast Think Tank

The Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies has been ranked one of the three top think tanks in the Middle East and Africa, along with Carnegie Middle East Center in Lebanon and the Gulf Research Center of Saudi Arabia.

The ranking appears in this year’s “Global Go To Think Tank Index,” released in January 2013 by the University of Pennsylvania. Other think tanks in the Middle East ranked high were the Turkish Economic and Social Studies Foundation (#4), Al-Ahram Center for Political and Strategic Studies of Egypt (#5), Al Jazeera Center of Qatar (#6), Institute for National Security Studies of Tel Aviv (#7), Brookings Doha Center of Qatar (#8), International Institute for Counter-Terrorism in Herzliya (#13), Harry S. Truman Institute for Advancement of Peace in Jerusalem (#15), and the Moshe Dayan Center for Middle Eastern and African Studies in Tel Aviv (#20).
