On October 7, the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies (BESA Center) at Bar-Ilan University hosted a senior Canadian delegation comprising senior executives, academics, legal professionals, media professionals, and community leaders. The visit was part of a broader tour of Israel, which included communities and kibbutzim in the Gaza Envelope.
During the visit, delegation members were introduced to the BESA Center’s research activities and its work on key issues shaping the regional and international arenas. The meeting highlighted the importance of bridging academic research and policy-making.
The visit provided an opportunity to deepen ties between the BESA Center and academic and public-sector circles in Canada, while strengthening dialogue on strategic, political, and social issues at the forefront of public discourse in Israel and internationally.
