On September 4 the Institute for Security Policy at Kiel University (ISPK) hosted a delegation from the BESA Center for Strategic Studies in Kiel, Germany. ISPK Director Dr. Sarah Kirchberger and her research team welcomed the BESA delegation, which included Professor Eitan Shamir and U.S. Navy Commander David Levi. During their visit, the two groups engaged in comprehensive discussions on pressing regional and global security challenges. The dialogue proved highly productive, with both sides sharing valuable insights and perspectives. As a result of this fruitful exchange, BESA and ISPK agreed to collaborate on a joint research project focusing on the current crises unfolding in the Red Sea region.
