On May 27, from 4:00-7:00 pm, the Begin-Sadat Center for Strategic Studies is hosting a conference with the Aspen Institute of Germany on the topic of “Europe and the Middle East.” It will take place in the Feldman Conference Center (Building 301), Bar-Ilan University.
The conference will feature lectures on European and NATO policy in the Middle East, the perception of Israel in Europe, and the Iranian threat vis-a-vis Europe.
Conference participants include two BESA Center research associates, a former Italian MP, the Executive Director of the Aspen Institute, and various NATO college faculty members. Prof. Efraim Inbar, Director of the BESA Center, and Mr. David Witzthum, a popular Israeli television host, will serve as panel chairs.
The conference is open to the public and will be held in English, with simultaneous Hebrew translation available.
