At the beginning of May, Professor Eitan Shamir participated in the Delphi Economic Forum in Greece, in a fascinating panel titled “The Eastern Mediterranean in Search of a New Security Architecture.”

Together with Israel’s Ambassador to Greece, Noam Katz, and Panagiotis Mihalos, and under the excellent moderation of Athanasios Katsikidis, the discussion focused on the regional implications of the war with Iran, the evolving relations between Israel, Greece, and Turkey, and the broader strategic dynamics shaping the Eastern Mediterranean.

The Delphi Forum continues to establish itself as one of the leading international platforms for meaningful policy and strategic discussions, bringing together leaders, diplomats, academics, and experts from around the world in a unique setting for open exchange of ideas.

Special thanks to Ambassador Maya Solomou, Ambassador of Greece to Israel, for her kind invitation and for her continued efforts to strengthen the important relationship between Greece and Israel.
